HOW TO STOP YOUR LIVE STREAMS BEING REMOVED FOR COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT

``YOUR VIDEO HAS BEEN REMOVED FOR COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT``
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! 🤬🤬🤬

Since the unwanted arrival of Covid-19, the DJ Race has adapted from playing God-like sets in bars and clubs, to dropping serious heat on their social media channels via live streaming.

Please step forward, automatic copyright recognition software, used by Facebook, Instagram, YouTube etc etc. You play the set of your life only for it to be promptly taken down, and even worse, incorrectly taken down. You are a DJ, and are simply playing the songs on a promotional basis. And under the “fair use” copyright statute, is perfectly legal.

But there may be a solution to this very annoying problem. By copying and pasting the following statement on your post/video, and by regularly posting this (roughly every 10 or 15 minutes) as a comment on your live streams, it gives you a much better chance of not being flagged for removal. In fact, many DJs have reported that none of their videos have been removed since starting to use this exact statement since April – and those videos are STILL up!

Musical Content Copyright Disclaimer (Fair Use) under section 107 Copyright Act 1976, allowance is made for “fair use” for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research. Fair use is a use permitted by copyright statute 5 might otherwise be infringing. Non-profit, educational or personal use tips the balance in favor of fair use. This video is for entertainment purposes only. It demonstrates my skills as a disc jockey and all audio was purchased legally.
